AGOL Pivot Viewer is a prototype developed by Esri's Applications Prototype Lab in Redlands, California. The viewer uses the ArcGIS Rest API to search for AGOL content. Results are displayed in LobsterPot's HTML5 pivotviewer.
The LobsterPot HTML5 PivotViewer is a cross browser, cross platform version of the Silverlight PivotViewer control produced by Microsoft. The control has been written as jQuery plug-in and utilises features available in HTML5. PivotViewer is a data visualisation tool for collections of data that quickly allows users to visualise data as a collection of Trading Cards or Tiles. PivotViewer has an intuitive interface that allows for data exploration through filtering, sorting and by changing views; enabling exploration from multiple perspectives to more easily identify relationships and outliers.
